1. When is the Holiday Gala?
Sunday, December 7th from 6:00pm to 10:00pm.
2. Where will the Gala be held?
Claremont, Empire and Horizon ballrooms, located on the Hotel’s lobby level. Dinner will be served in all three ballrooms. Live band will be staged in the Claremont ballroom.
REGISTRATION & CANCELLATION POLICY
3. How do I register?
Members can only register online at www.claremontresort.com/club/eventsandactivities
For your convenience you can use the internet kiosk located in the Club lobby.
4. When can we register?
Beginning Wednesday, November 19th at 10:00am through Monday, December 1st at 5:00pm OR until event is SOLD OUT. Registrations prior to this date will not be valid.
5. How do I RSVP?
Please RSVP ONLINE. Phone, Email or in person reservations will NOT be accepted. You do not have to have email to register. For your convenience, you can use the internet kiosks located at the Club lobby. Please do not submit phone, email or in-person reservations.
6. Why can I only register online?
Due to member requests and to ensure 100% accuracy, we have created an online form, which will include all the information you need to provide at the time of registration. Online registration will provide a more reliable confirmation process. Through this form, you will only need to submit your reservation once.
7. Do I receive a confirmation? How do I ensure that my name is on the list?
You will receive an official email confirmation within three business days. It is important that you clearly indicate your email address at the time of the reservation in order to get a confirmation.
8. I am very protective of my email account. Could you please use it for this event only?
All email addresses are protected and are not distributed to anyone. We will remove your email information upon request. However, we strongly encourage you to update your email contact information for it is the most effective way of receiving Club communications and updates including the e-newsletter.
9. What if I don’t have an email account?
For those members without an email account, please use a friend’s email account. This will ensure that you receive a written confirmation for your reservation. We ask everyone to provide an email address due to the large volume of registrations and information accuracy.
10. Can we bring a guest or more members?
The Gala is complimentary for two adults per Family membership category only. Single memberships are welcome to bring a guest for an additional fee of $100 which will be applied to your account. No exceptions. Unregistered guests will be asked to leave the event.
11. Could I still bring my spouse if he/she is not a member?
Single memberships are welcome to bring a guest for an additional fee of $100 which will be applied to their account.
12. Is there a fee to attend the Gala?
The Holiday Gala is complimentary for two adults per Family membership and one adult per Single membership. Space is limited and reservations are taken on a first come first serve basis.
13. How do I cancel or change my reservation?
If you need to cancel or make any changes to your reservation, please honor our 4-day cancellation policy by contacting us no later than Wednesday, December 3rd at 12:00pm. DO NOT SUBMIT YOUR CANCELLATION BY PHONE OR IN PERSON. Please send us an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org AND use the following subject title for changes to your reservation:
14. Is there a cancellation fee?
A $50 fee will be applied when cancelling after 12:00pm on Wednesday, December 3rd. No cancellations fees if cancelled before Wednesday, December 3rd.
15. What is the gala agenda?
Registration opens at 6:00pm.
Ballroom doors open and champagne reception begins at 6:00pm
Dinner will be served at 6:45pm sharp
Dancing until 10:00pm
16. What is the attire?
Black tie. We encourage guests to dress up and get in the spirit of Festa Carioca, Carnaval Rio de Janeiro!
17. Is there a coat check service provided?
Complimentary coat check will be available starting at 6:00pm and located near the registration area.
18. Who will be performing?
This year’s “Festa Carioca: Carnaval Rio de Janeiro” Ball will feature AllStar Jukebox, a longtime favorite and high-energy band featuring some of the Bay Area's most talented and dynamic musicians. AllStar Jukebox diverse repertoire ranges from swing and standards as a Big Band/orchestra. The band is a hit at '60s psychedelic and classic rock parties, '70s disco dances or new wave '80s events. In addition, All Star Jukebox specializes in modern rock from 1990 to date.
19. Can we reserve a table?
The Gala is open seating and we do not reserve tables.
20. What will the menu include?
A three-course dinner with a choice of beef, fish or vegetarian. Please indicate your menu selection at time of online
21. Where can we continue the Gala celebration?
The Paragon Bar & Café will be open until 12midnight on Sunday, December 7th. Please refer to question #24 if you have children at the Kids’ Club Childcare Event.
22. Will childcare be available?
Childcare is available through Kids’ Club for ages 3* to 11 years old and located in the Hotel’s mezzanine level. Space is limited. For reservations, please indicate that information at time of online registration. Fees apply: $45 for the first child and $40 per additional child. A cancellation fee of $25 will be applied for cancellations made after Wednesday, December 3rd (4 days prior to event). * Restrictions apply.
23. What are the hours of operations for Kids’ Club on the day of the Gala?
Kids’ Club will be open from 8:00am to 1:00pm on Sunday, December 7th.
24. How late can I pick up my child at the Kids’ Club Event?
The Kids’ Club Event will finish promptly at 10:00pm. Please pick up your children no later than 10:00pm. Otherwise possible late fee may apply. For more information, please contact Kids’ Club directly at 898-0037.
PARKING, ACCOMMODATIONS AND SALON
25. Where can we park?
Complimentary valet parking will be available at the hotel main entrance. Please plan to arrive a few minutes early to anticipate for parking.
26. Will there be member preferred pricing for Hotel accommodations?
We invite you to continue the Festa Carioca celebration by staying at the Claremont. The member discounted rates are starting at $159.00 for a non-Bayview Classic Room. Reservations must be directly billed to the member account for any discount to be applied. Room upgrades upon availability. To book your stay call Room Reservations at 800-551-7266.

28. What if we need alternative transportation?

CLUB HOURS OF OPERATION
29. Will the Club modify its hours of operation?
On Sunday, December 7th The Club will be open regular hours from 6:45am to 9:30pm.
